Title - 'Young For A Long Time'
Artist - Little Texas

For those not in the know, although those that a) know their country music and b) loved the uber catchy duo of hit 90's singles, 'God Blessed Texas' and (their only #1 hit on Billboard) 'My Love,' will definitely remember this band, Little Texas are an American country music band founded in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1988. Put together by Tim Rushlow (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Brady Seals (lead vocals, background vocals, guitars, keyboards), Del Gray (drums), Porter Howell (lead guitar, background vocals), Dwayne O'Brien (rhythm guitar, background vocals), and Duane Propes (bass guitar, background vocals), the band has been a country institution since, very nearly, day one.

Their debut album earned a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), while 1993's Big Time was certified double platinum and 1994's Kick a Little was certified platinum.

The long-awaited brand new album from country rock superstars Little Texas, Young For A Long Time is now nearly upon us. Their first since 2007’s Missing Years, since their conception Little Texas has sold over 7 million albums, earned 3 Grammy nominations, won a CMA Album Of The Year award and earned the title “The Hardest Working Band In Country” by playing over 300 shows a year!

Now as a quartet, featuring original members Duane Propes, Dwayne O'Brien, Del Gray, and Porter Howell on vocals, Young For A Long Time is an incredible return to form for the band from Texas. It also includes a song that was recorded as a tribute to a fallen soldier in the form of 'Slow Ride Home.' The song is a powerful and moving piece of storytelling that speaks not only to the profound sorrow caused by the death of a soldier, but also to the cathartic healing made possible by the love and support of ordinary folks from ordinary towns all across America.

The album kicks-off with the upbeat title track, 'Young For A Long Time,' before heading into the mid-tempo 'Can't Get In A Hurry Here.' Pounding drums followed by a wailing guitar then lead us into 'Why I Brought My Boots,' before the aforementioned quietly paced 'Slow Ride Home,' and the upbeat fun of 'Rednecks Do Exist.' The gentle acoustic guitar play of 'Kings of This Town' is next, and is backed by the guitar force of 'Year Year Year' and the beautiful 'Take This Walk With Me.'

With the 13 tracks on this new album proving that Little Texas have lost nothing over the years, the band who will be back on the live trail come mid-April through to early November, continue onwards here with 'Nothin' You Can Do,' before following it with both the pleading curiosity within the love song 'How Many Chances,' and the gung-ho 'This Hot In Texas.' But, as an added bonus for all Little Texas fans, this excellent new album also includes two bonus cuts – brand new recordings of the band’s blockbuster hit singles, 'What Might Have Been,' and 'God Blessed Texas.'
