Title - 'Road To Forever' (Rocket Science)
Artist - Road to Forever

I have to fully admit that I love this album - a lot! Indeed I've listened to it almost every day that I've owned it. This is the type of album that you need to listen to it a couple of time before the songs really stick to you and you appreciate them. Like everyone else who is a fan of Don's work and who I have spoken with, I like 'Wash Away,' 'Fall From the Grace of Love,' 'Someday,' 'Over You, but my favorite is the title track, 'Road to Forever.'

That song is such a roller coaster of a ride, an epic musical journey it's hard to find fault with it - or anything else on this wonderful new solo CD. It's amazing to think that Don being renowned as the former lead guitarist of The Eagles; one of the most popular and influential rock groups of our time has taken this long to bring out his long-awaited follow-up to his 1983 solo debut album, Airborne.

In short, the true beauty is that the bigger picture is never quite defined, yet it's right there. And if you've experienced it, then the songs come home to the heart. Not only are the songs exactly the type of easy going sounds you'd like from an Eagle member, they are also very authentic. Leave it to Don Felder to create the true next "Eagles album" and without the other four band members!
