Title - 'Cash On Delivery' (Columbia)
Artist - Ray Cash

I was recently listening to Sirius Satellite radio and "The Payback" comes on The Wonder Twinz show via Hip Hop Nation. Immediately I began nodding my head to the beat and hearing this cat spit fluid rhymes so I think to myself "Finally another respectable MC is emerging and hip hop is on it's way back to rhyme skillz". Wrong, I ordered this CD from here on amazon and listened to the album front to back left feeling cheated. Most of the songs on the album are mediocre at best chock full of club bangers. Lyrically Ray Cash could be a legendary MC from a city where lyricist are rare, instead the album is more geared towards the appeal of today's generation of "hip hop" fans. The overall production on the album is nice but the content is all too familiar. If you're a fan of lyricsim I wouldnt recommend picking this one up. If you like club bangers and southern type rap music this may be a gem you're willing to cop. Maybe his sophmore album will be a little less mainstream and focus more on his content
