Lovingly created for just this very moment that we are living, no matter who picks it up and either thumbs through it at a store, or online, or outright purchases it, the book is a creative pilgrimage born from a personal challenge to do something that Langan had not done since childhood; and given Covid 19 had afforded her the time, she not only put this creative book together, but also completed Living Each Day the Fortune Cookie Way (from which sprang the idea of Simply Be More).

Langan chose to do a sketch every day for 100 days, which was a bold move for someone who hadn�t done such a thing since the age of thirteen, having always given herself the excuses of the light wasn�t right, her mood wasn�t right, and amongst a slew of others, she was never in the right head space to even try.

But there in 2020, and with all her work as a flute player cancelled, and with an abundance of time fast enveloping her, she set her mind to being more creative. Having written, and now finished her first book, the aforementioned Living Each Day the Fortune Cookie Way, Langan was asked what her next book would be, and not having another idea, let alone a book, lined up, she simply sent in ten sketches ... and just like that, Simply Be More was born.

Featuring self-help anecdotes drawn around (quiet literally) a ram, alpaca, hedgehog, swan, penguin, dog, fox and other non-animal entities such as a dandelion, cricketer, tuning fork and oh-so many more, Simply Be More is a well written, well drawn, self help book that proffers up bite size snippets of insightful thought in the form of cute drawings, complete with just the right-sized amount of contemplative wisdom to go with them each time.

About the Author - Clare Langan is an international flautist who has taken her communication skills as a performer to diverse audiences worldwide. She has pursed her passion for music her entire life but had an incessant calling to write a book.

Covid 19 afforded her the time to complete Living Each Day the Fortune Cookie Way and from that book sprang the idea of Be More. Clare lives in Bury St Edmunds, UK.
