Beyond Sex and Soup
By: Anna Parkinson - O-Books, $20.95

Description: In Beyond Sex and Soup: Living a Spiritual Adventure, a healer reveals powerful invisible ‘tools’ to expand your horizons and overcome personal challenges.

Beyond Sex and Soup is about the beauty in you. The beauty is always there but sometimes shrouded by fear, anger, anxiety or pain. This story is also about death, the knowledge of which makes us so much more joyful about living.

Verdict: Here in Beyond Sex and Soup, author Anna Parkinson offers you tools to help you uncover the beauty from the everyday drama of your life.

Indeed, as noted above, she has herself found them powerful for her own healing and her practice of healing others over the past fifteen years.

Along the way, you’ll encounter some of the everyday drama of the author’s own life and the characters it’s been her privilege to share the adventure with.

Whether you yourself are suffering, or have done, or it is your partner, family member, a loved one, a child, or just a neighbor you know, what Anna does is encourage you to take a deep breath, get in touch with the body’s true nature, and find the beauty in yourself and those around you; and then, if it isn’t for you, simply pass that teaching along to someone who needs it.

In her book, written during the Pandemic, Anna uses the life and last years of her own mother’s life to beautifully explain the messages she is trying to portray, whilst at all times revealing other layers of her life and other experiences of her fascinating life.

Also inclusive of some rather useful, day to day exercises - such as a beautiful, relaxing set of subtle breathing exercises, that she was taught by her grandfather - believe me when I say that (repetitively) reading this book will enhance the quality of your life; and have you oh-so much calmer than you have ever known your existence to be.

About the Author - Anna Parkinson was a BBC journalist when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2002. The tumor proved to be inoperable and Anna found herself gradually drawn into the mysterious art of healing and how we can use it in our lives.

As a practicing healer, Anna was able to eliminate the tumor and all its symptoms and helped hundreds of others make a similar journey. She lives in Ashford, UK.
