Verdict:'Halo' is an amazing game and was a great first hit for the Xbox. The game handles well, and nice graphics, and amazing battles. But this game is still fairly short, with only 12 missions and several re-used maps. The new enemy that appeared mid-way through the game was refreshing, but the game still got old. For most, this game will last about a month before you sick of it. For anyone who has game loving friends, this game will last you indefinetly. The multiplayer is that fun and that big. Even for those that hate First Person Shooters, you should still give it a try. Why? I was not a fan of FPS either, but 'Halo' turned me wrong. There is only one truly bad thing about this game: once you play it, virtually no other console FPS will seem fun anymore. But who cares. 'Halo' is far from the best game ever, or even the best game on Xbox (the best are 'Panzer Dragoon Orta,' 'Tom Clancey's Splinter Cell,' and 'Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance'). One of the best reasons to buy an XBox.
