I have to say that my friends and I sat down with this horror flick last Saturday not expecting much but ended up with half-eaten Chinese food and beer still in our cans as we were all pretty much transfixed on this flick from start to finish!

The acting is well above par, especially from the lead actress, and the bloody gore flashing scenes are up there with some of the best, the actual Midnight Monster creature itself a massively impressive creation, in and unto itself.
