Title - A Family Business [EP]
Artist - The Leemoo Gang

For those unaware, The Leemoo Gang is a progressive world music group formed by French fusion guitarist Bernard Margarit and sitar master Joyeeta Sanyal-Margarit, featuring their children Tanya and Leo.

They released their 5-track debut EP, A Family Business, on Castle Records in 2026, blending Indian flavors with jazz, rock, and electro influences.

The group - which is a direct follow-up to the duo’s previous project, Jee & Bee - has both Joyeeta and Bernard each writing and composing the music, but this time the album also features Bernard’s children Tania Margarit (vocals, keyboards, arrangements), Leo Margarit (drums) and Nayan Margarit (drums) in addition to several native Indian musicians on percussion.

1. Crazy Mind
2. Song For Tania
3. Jeetu
4. Ishwara
5. Song For Bonu

Totally lives up to its namesake on what is a thoroughly enjoyable and musically immersive new recording, the album kicks off - with its exotic Indian instrumentation, dutiful sitar playing and breathy wordless vocals veined throughout - on Crazy Mind and then we get brought forth the simply beautiful Song For Tania (which also features guest artist Prabhu Edouard on tabla), the rocking, full-blooded Jeetu, the set rounding out on the powerfully engaging Ishwara, coming to a close on the harmonically layered Song For Bonu.
