Title - For Those That Wander By
Artist - John Howard

For those still wondering, John Howard and Robert Cochrane don’t just write songs — they weave sonic poetry that hovers between earth and ether.

For Those That Wander By, their first duet since 2005’s The Dangerous Hours, proves time only sharpens genius. Lead single Losing Myself In Others is a waltz of words and melody, where literary finesse meets lush, velvety arrangements.

This is sophisticated pop for poetry buffs, theatrical rock for life’s performers, and art music for dreamers lost in a gallery haze. Step into their world — it’s a hauntingly beautiful escape from the everyday.

1. Losing Myself In Others [5:59]
2. Dead At The Scene [4:40]
3. The Man Who Was America [4:41]
4. Return Postcards [3:31]
5. Casati’s Tears [6:57]
6. A Scant Importance [5:16]
7. No Glitter In Revenge [2:39]
8. Those That Wander By [4:36]

This elegantly packaged digipak that is more refined than afternoon tea at the Ritz, and features eight tracks of poetic metamorphosis captured in pristine digital clarity, opens on the impassioned Losing Myself In Others and then brings us an aching yearn threaded within Dead At The Scene, the veritably stoic, at first, latterly rhythmic and yet always glistening The Man Who Was America and the French-hued tale spun within Return Postcards.

Along next is the enormously effective, flourishing Casati’s Tears and that is in turn backed by the decadent A Scant Importance, this majestically sculpted new album rounding out on the harmoniously sculpted No Glitter In Revenge, coming to a close on the sumptuous title cut Those That Wander By.

Picture this: It’s the 1970s, and John Howard is turning Abbey Road and Apple Studios into his personal glitter-filled playground. His debut, Kid in a Big World, wasn’t just released; it was unleashed. Then, plot twist! The 1980s see John swap his piano for a corporate swivel chair.

But you can’t keep a good glam-popper down! 2003 rolls around, and Kid in a Big World gets a reissue that’s less blast from the past and more blast of the future. Suddenly, John’s back with new tunes, live shows, and even a couple of autobiographies - because when your life’s this fabulous, one book just isn’t enough.

Think Like A Key Music joined the party in 2023, giving Cut The Wire the vinyl treatment it deserves. And hold onto your glitter, folks, because now we have been graced with the release of For Those Who Wander By. It’s not just an album; it’s John Howard’s latest musical expedition, inviting listeners to wander through his melodic landscapes.
