Title - The End Of All Songs, Part 1
Artist - Spirits Burning & Michael Moorcock

For those unaware, fantasy writer/art rock visionary Michael Moorcock and Don Falcone’s space rock collective Spirits Burning return for an all-new collaboration on this epic new album entitled The End Of All Songs, Part 1.

Moorcock has been named one of the 50 greatest British writers since 1945 and his unique talents have been applied to not just literary works but to the rock world contributing to bands such as Hawkwind, Blue Öyster Cult and his own projects as well.

Performers include Albert Bouchard (Blue Öyster Cult), Alan Davey (Hawkwind), Paul Rudolph (Pink Fairies), Chas Cronk (The Strawbs), plus members of The Damned, Camper Van Beethoven, Tangerine Dream and more.

1. The End Of Every Song (4:25)
2. Try And Try Again (5:27)
3. Child Of The Moon (3:38)
4. Paleozoic Eons (3:56)
5. Guild Of Temporal Adventurers (6:32)
6. You Have Learned (To Love The End Of Time) (1:25)

16. Don’t Concern Yourself With The End Of The World (5:36)
17. Each Vehicle Has Two Eyes (5:38)

The album opens the engaging chug of The End Of Every Song and the guitar-led Try And Try Again and then follows those up with the free flowing Child Of The Moon, the synth-beholden Paleozoic Eons, the prog rocker Guild Of Temporal Adventurers, the train track-imbued AOR of You Have Learned (To Love The End Of Time), and then come the low slung, yet gently driven All Is Well and the spoken word Paradise Wings In Flight.

Along next is the propulsive Your Message Of Doom and the Asian-hued AOR found within It Is Everything and they are in turn followed by the drum-led rock of Building A Bad Scene, the synth-driven Sanctuary, the sculpted Chances Our, and then come the 70’s-esque sounds that reverberate throughout The Price We Pay, the countrified Second Thoughts, the recording closing on the impassioned Don’t Concern Yourself With The End Of The World and the all-embracing sounds that ebb and flow within Each Vehicle Has Two Eyes.
