Title - The Ghost from Within
Artist - Wolfen Reloaded

Founded in the mid ’80s, Wolfen soon became one of the hottest live bands in southern Bavaria. Unfortunately, the musical paths of the band members diverged and the band separated in 1996.

In the summer of 2009, former Wolfen members Christian Freimoser (vocals), Wolfi Forstner (guitar) and Thomas Rackl (bass) decided to bring the old band back to life under the title of the Wolfen Reloaded Project.

In Richi Friesinger, they found a solid drummer who perfectly complimented the new line-up and so the band came to be once again. But after more than five years with numerous performances and the production of an immediately sold-out EP, Richi decided to leave the band for personal reasons.

Fortunately, a new drummer was soon found. Manuel Wimmer not only fills the resulting gap, but makes a significant contribution to the sound of the band through his technically outstanding playing and his extraordinary musicality.

The roots of the band lie in the hard rock of the ’80s and ’90s, but for the four musicians it was clear from the beginning that they did not want to be pigeon-holed into just the one genre.

Since the reunion, Wolfen have played RELOADED at numerous events and festivals. Among others, in the Rockhaus Salzburg, on the Munich Backstage (Club and Halle), at the Chiemsee Summer Festival 2014, at the cult club Garage De Luxe in Munich and at the Friends of Metal Festival (alongside international acts such as Axxis, Pink Cream 69 and Bonfire).

However, the absolute highlight for them in 2015 were when they supported on tour THE BREW (UK) in October and for OPERATION:Mindcrime, the band of former Queensryche singer Geoff Tate, in November and December.

Together with musicians who have already played with bands such as Queensryche, AC/DC, DIO and DISTURBED, was not only an extraordinary experience but also a huge honor for Wolfen Reloaded.

Recently, further support gigs for Bonfire and the English rockers Thunder have been added to the respective current tours, as well as festival performances with bands such as J.B.O. or Subway to Sally.

And now the band have spent some time in the studio and have just released their brand new album The Ghost from Within. Simply put, Wolfen Reloaded stand for progressive, melodic rock and both their albums and their live performances showcase that perfectly.

1. Rise Of The Machines (4:45)
2. N.W.O. (3:43)
3. Point Of No Return (4:41)
4. Ghost From Within (4:52)
5. Poison In Your Veins (5:07)
6. King Of Fools (5:12)
7. Dangerous Minds (4:27)
8. Broken (4:38)
9. Hurricane (4:35)
10. Nightmare (4:32)

On this brilliantly vibrant new recording, the band open with the powerfully engaging Rise Of The Machines and the AOR of N.W.O. (New World Order) and then we get brought forth the immediacy that flows through Point Of No Return and the titular rocker Ghost From Within, with the dynamic Poison In Your Veins up next.

Along next is more propinquity found within the mainstay of the recording on King Of Fools and the all-encompassing Dangerous Minds, and they are in turn backed by the impassioned Broken, the album rounding out on the sonically charged, Ozzy-esque Hurricane, closing on the dramatically solid Nightmare.
