Title - Lullabies
Artist - Silver Dust

For those not in the know, following the overwhelming success of House 21, performed more than 100 times in 27 countries throughout Europe, Silver Dust now releases its fourth album, Lullabies, in cooperation with Escudero Records and Fastball Music.

Composed once more by the band’s leader, Lord Campbell, this album demonstrates how the Swiss quartet has grown in maturity.

With a brilliant mix of diversity and power, this new musical opus takes the audience into a unique universe, and yet one at all times akin to Silver Dust; a band that has most definitely found its own musical standing.

Indeed, Lullabies is chock full of catchy melodies and Lord Campbell’s subtle electronic music has also undertaken a whole new level of intrigue here on this new recording.

With classical arrangements that are even more powerful than in the past, the band has clearly entered a new stage of their musical evolution.

1. The Pact
2. Emeline
3. Follow Me
4. Eternité
5. Stand By Me
6. I’ll Risk It
7. There’s A Place Where I Can Go
8. Animals Swing
9. Burlesque
10. Echoes Of History
11. Forever (Classical Version) [Bonus Track]

Having been described as Burtonian (due to their style, one similar to that of director Tim Burton), Silver Dust open on the stirringly operatic instrumental The Pact and the AOR of Emeline and follow those up with the harder-edged Follow Me, the synth-imbibed Eternité, the soaring, nay towering sounds within Stand By Me and then we get one of my own personal favorites here, the goth-metal I’ll Risk It.

Next up on this highly theatrical new album is the gentle AOR of There’s A Place Where I Can Go which is in turn backed by the finger-snapping, drudge rock of Animals Swing, then comes the thunderously entertaining Burlesque, the album rounding out on the free flowing rock majesties of Echoes Of History, coming to a close on the CD bonus track Forever (Classical Version).

Trust me when I say that on each and every appearance they make, Silver Dust makes it a point of honor to present a truly magical show.

The band, and their unique music, always like to brighten up their fans’ lives with their own scenic presence on stage, which includes elements of steampunk and Victorian influences galore.
