Title - 'Feel You're Different' (Rock Ridge Music)
Artist - Lights Resolve

Lights Resolve, the trio from Long Island, NY, who just recently signed with Rock Ridge Music have just-released their high-powered debut album, 'Feel You’re Different,' via the label this October.

For 'Feel You’re Different,' Lights Resolve recorded in Bethpage, NY with legendary Long Island producer Mike Sapone (Brand New, Taking Back Sunday) and the result is mixed, but for the most part crisp and pertinent.

The album starts with the crashing guitars of 'Happens Every Day,' a great song to start this brilliant album off. Then comes the frantic opening to 'With the Pieces,' before the medium-paced 'Get Away With It' and the slow (in places) 'My Gemini.'

The more grizzled 'Misfire' is screamingly brought to us next, before album filler 'Sew It Up' and the fast-paced, anthemic 'Rhapsodize.' 'Hurt A Little' is a fist pumper, whereas 'Stick em Up' doesn't quite know what it wants to be, in truth.

The eclectic 'HIPS' is followed by the best song on the album, according to me, of course, the melodic album-ending 'Another Five Days.'
