Title - 'Things Are Looking Up'
Artist - The Walk-A-Bout

The new album, Things Are Looking Up by Australian/American band The Walk-A-Bout is a dynamic new collection that explores an avenue of intricate song-crafting with a welcome pop appeal.

The album delivers a progressive folk/alt-rock listening experience while maintaining the band’s signature sound of depth and introspection.

Indeed, this sophomore release from The Walk-About includes four (4) brand new songs - featuring the latest member of the band, Dave Christian on Electric Guitar and Backing Vocals - as well as two (2) previously-released tracks.

1. 'Things Are Looking Up'
2. 'That's Just the Way It Goes'
3. 'By My Side'
4. 'Consequences'
5. 'Oasis'
6. 'Drifting Tide'

Here on their new album, Things Are Looking Up The Walk-About - Kevin Anderson on Acoustic Guitars; Darren “Sully Sullivan on Lead Vocals & Harp; Drew “Drumz” Bertrand on Drums; Michael Perrotta on Bass; and the aforementioned Dave Christian - they kick things off in fine style with the title track, before heading into the album’s featured single, 'That’s Just the Way It Goes.'

As the album continues onward, the brilliant 'By My Side' seamlessly segue way's into 'Consequences,' before one of my own personal favorites on this album, albeit one previously-released, 'Oasis' is brought forth. The album closes with another one that's seen exposure, 'Drifting Tide, but by then you're already aiming to hit repeat and immerse yourself back within it all once again.

With members of the band having worked with such musical greats as Bill Ortiz (Santana), Vince Welnick (The Tubes, The Grateful Dead), renowned jazz saxophonist David Murray, Earl “Chinna” Smith (Bob Marley and The Wailers), and even Grammy-winning film composer Alex Wurman, you must know going in, that this could only end up being one of the most incredible musical experiences of the past decade - and it is!

Produced by Andrew Michael Bertrand and mastered by Roger Lian, Things Are Looking Up is in stores and online worldwide on June 15th, 2018.

A limited edition 180-Gram Red Splatter Vinyl will also be available with the official album release!

The Walk-A-Bout will tour to support the album along the East and West Coasts throughout 2018, as well as Australia in February 2019.
