Tim Hockenberry is a talented and versatile multi-instrumentalist singer and songwriter whose voice is reminiscent of Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, and Tom Waits. Due to a very successful Kickstarter program, he is releasing Tim Hockenberry, his self-titled debut album of all original music this coming March 2016.

The project to get this superb album of 10 tracks into CD form and out to his devoted fan base was first launched back on May 26th, 2015 and reached it's required $25,000 goal on June 26th, 2015. Indeed, come the final tally and it reached $26,001 with a total of 109 backers; which is amazingly dedicated of his fans, that's for sure.

For those not in the know about the singer himself though, Hockenberry is a highly gifted interpreter of well-known cover songs, and you only need to hear a few bars of Hockenberry singing 'I Left My Heart In San Francisco,' for example, to understand that this is an artist who has a refreshingly authentic approach to great songs.
