Title - 'Chuck' (OST)
Artist - Tim Jones

As we are all aware by now, being avid spy TV fans, 'Chuck' was an American action-comedy/spy-drama television series created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an "average computer-whiz-next-door" named Chuck, played by Zachary Levi, who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The message embeds the only remaining copy of a software program containing the United States' greatest spy secrets into Chuck's brain.

So, given that 'Chuck' went off the air on January 27, 2012 with a two-hour finale, quite why the soundtrack took three (3) years to come out is beyond me. Let alone the fact that that was when the show ended, so bringing it out a few years beforehand whilst it was on it's successful run, would have made WAY more sense!

Anyhoo, Chuck is out now, so we'll tackle it to the musical floor for ya'll, no worries. The TV show didn't have too much room for "real" music, but the 16 tracks here do flash you straight back to the show, that's for sure. Also, I love the inclusion of the Jeffster on tracks such as 'Fat Bottom Girls' (Queen), 'Fortunate Son' (CCR), and A-ha's 'Take On Me'! Brilliant marketing, and even better, you get two (2) bonus Jeffster tracks on the digital download!

As my mate next to me has just very aptly said, "Grab a Subway Hoagie, or a treat from Wienerlicous, sit down behind Big Mike's desk and relive one of the best action/comedy shows of the last decade with this wonderful compilation of musical moments put together by Tim Jones! "Aces, Charles!"" I couldn't have put it better myself.
