Title - 'Night Life: Deluxe Edition' (Ume)
Artist - Thin Lizzy

Thin Lizzy's Night Life is now a digitally remastered and expanded deluxe two CD edition of the Irish Rock band's 1974 album. Now including a bonus disc with 10 live and rare tracks, Nightlife was Lizzy's third album overall, but their first for Mercury Records - and the first to feature the classic-era line-up that included bassist/vocalist Phil Lynott and guitarists Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson.

With world domination still a year or two away, but with their unique dual lead guitar attack primed and ready, the first disc (the original album remastered) kicks off with the melodic 'She Knows,' before heading into the gentle away of the title track and then 'It's Only Money.' The always-immense, guitar-led 'Still In Love With You' is next with the passionate 'Frankie Carroll' and the hit single 'Showdown' following close behind. The disc continues with a short instrumental track 'Banshee,' and then the first real Irish song on the album, 'Philomena.' The album is rounded out by the frantic 'Sha La La' and then a grounded 'Dear Heart.'

The second disc starts with four cuts from the BBC Radio 1 John Peel Studio Sessions - 'She Knows,' 'Sha La La,' 'It's Only Money,' and 'Philomena,' before two cuts from the BBC Radio Bob Harris Studio Sessions, the passionate 'Dear Heart' and the instrumental 'Banshee.' Alternate versions of 'Showdown,' the beautiful 'Still In Love With You' and 'It's Only Money' are next, with an alternate take on 'Showdown' and a mono, raw, rough mix version of 'Still In Love With You' (which includes someone from the band suggesting they get someone to run and find them some beer or wine!) rounding out the entire package.
