In truth, I did not know much about what this book provides, but was overly curious to dive in and see what it would all mean to me, personally, as opposed to the bigger picture of life.

Well, I can say that I was very pleasantly surprised to find myself engrossed within its given prose from nearly the very off, for the book is a heartfelt, nay diligently impassioned rundown of how the archetypal masculine path of ascent and discipline guides us forward; whilst at the same time, at times, holds us back from true inner growth if we allow it to.

That said, it is obviously more focused upon that aforementioned path, providing the necessary steps and key principles (such as reincarnation, karma and amongst a host of other things, death and its aftermath), but its the raft of esoteric sources that combine to bring forth the practical seeker enough comforting, and expertly culled guidance and wisdom to divine a path of their very own.

About the Author - William Wilson Quinn, an alumnus of the Divinity School at the University of Chicago, where he earned the M.A. and Ph.D., was formerly employed by the Theosophical Society in America, which he joined in 1969. He was Editor of Quest magazine, and an Associate Editor of the Theosophical Publishing House.
