The Mysteries of The 12th Astrological House
By: Carmen Turner-Schott, MSW, LISW - O-Books, $17.95

Description: The twelfth house is the most spiritual and mystical house in astrology. It rules cosmic consciousness, compassion, service to others, spiritual gifts, addiction, imagination and much more. Having planets placed in this house blesses you with imagination, intuition, empathy and mystical experiences.

In The Mysteries of the Twelfth Astrological House we will discuss a basic overview of the key issues and practical ways to overcome the more challenging twelfth house planet placements, sharing stories and words of wisdom.

This book will benefit anyone who wants to learn more about the basics of the twelfth house while providing skills in counseling clients with these placements.

Verdict: For those unaware, in astrology, there are twelve houses that represent different areas of life. The most spiritual house in the birth chart is the twelfth house. The twelfth house is associated with the astrological sign Pisces and the planet Neptune.

Traditionally, it is known as the house of loss, sorrow, suffering, secret enemies and escapism. There are also positive influences that impact people with twelfth house planets. When planets are placed in the twelfth house the individual has a special mission. The individual will have karmic lessons to learn and balance out.

The lessons that need to be learned will depend on which planet is placed in this area of life. Traditionally there are ten planets that astrologers focus on and they are the sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

Here in her new book, The Mysteries of the Twelfth Astrological House: Fallen Angels, author Carmen Turner-Schott discusses positive tips for how to navigate twelfth house placements; commonly referred to as the House of the Unconscious, and inclusive of the unseen realm of sorrow, of shadow, and of invisible enemies.

As those of us following along already know, the unconscious state can help engender our successes, as well as assist us in coping with our failures and, for the most part, most twelfth house people believe in something greater than themselves.

Indeed, it is impossible to convince them that there is not a spiritual purpose in life and that there is a connection between people with twelfth house planets because they share similar spiritual experiences.

What this book magnificently highlights is five positive things about having planets in the twelfth house: Spiritual Gifts, Imagination, Compassion, Solitude and the titular Fallen Angels.

For me personally, the twelfth house rules my/our dreams, the dream world and the how we sleep and rest. Likewise, mystical phenomenon, intuitive insight and a considerable measure of spiritual activity are also ruled by this house; even though these aspects are for the most part things that are not controlled by the individual.

I could go on, but this really is a most fascinating book that not only helps guide those somewhat lost within its realms, but at the same time helps those learning more about things to get a better grasp on them.

As noted, the twelfth house is the most mystical house in the astrological chart. Learning more about this house can help you understand yourself and others better. Ergo in her new book, The Mysteries of the Twelfth Astrological House: Fallen Angels, personal stories are shared from twelfth house people from all over the world.

In short, this quite wondrous book is a beginner’s guide that focuses on understanding others on a deeper level and is perfect for everyone interested or even by now heavily invested within its mystical web to mine their own psyche depths.
