OMG! OK, sure this is a B-movie of the highest order out the box, but my God, it is one of the highest quality, best CGI’d/AI’d low-budget films that I have seen in the past two decades! Chock full of brilliant dialogue, acting off the charts and werewolves that actually look **real** for once, Models vs. Werewolves is the kind of film that you truly wish all other B-movies would aspire to be.

It bears repeating my friends, as this 2026 campy horror-comedy from Full Moon Features seamlessly blends classic creature-feature vibes with polarizing generative AI - in such a way that, for the most part, you just do not see the CGI seams!

Five self-centered young models and beauty influencers head to a remote Airbnb in the woods to capture content during a rare full moon that happens once every 500 years. The Threat: The moonlight awakens a pack of bloodthirsty ancient shapeshifting werewolves!

Fans of campy indie trash and classic 1970’s and 1980’s monster movie aesthetics will fricking LOVE this female cast, along with the fun and absurd premise, and occasional bursts of practical gore effects that come complete! Legendary Scream Queen Dee Wallace’s appearance (The Hills Have Eyes, The Howling, Cujo, etc.) is brilliantly timed also, and as much as you know what will happen to her character, you just don’t care - and, for the most part, beg the film to lovingly bring it on!
