In what is a very interesting, and thoroughly engaging flick from 2013 via independent sci-fi film director Dwayne Buckle - and one that follows a small-time hustler transformed into a bionic hybrid after being left for dead - hustler Charles Benjamin goes to New Mexico for a drug shipment, gets beaten and abandoned, and has his body rebuilt by the scientists to seek revenge.

Personally I liked this film, because for me it did an expert job in blending a personal human story with thought-provoking tech themes, and its original music score and violent action scenes were also rather well done too.

Sure people can have a pop at the low-budget indie feature-feel to it and how overall it feels like a cheap imitation of classic bionic tropes with uneven pacing, and maybe there are solid agreements (in part) to be had there, but it still manages to tell a worrying story of the future through fresh eyes (all be they from 2013, of course).
