Overview: When a young couple’s romantic camping trip in the California wilderness turns into a blood-soaked nightmare, the lone survivor brings shocking footage to a reluctant detective and an obsessed cryptozoologist, setting off a hunt for answers deep in the forest.

As bodies pile up and media hysteria spreads, they uncover a terrifying truth: a winged killer long thought to be only a legend -- the Mothman -- has resurfaced, leaving a trail of carnage in its wake. But lurking in the shadows is another mythical creature, Bigfoot, a misunderstood forest guardian driven to confront the winged intruder in a brutal clash of mythic beasts.

And in the ultimate battle between monsters, a darker truth about humanity itself will be revealed. Starring Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior, Commando) and Christopher Showerman (George of the Jungle 2, Supergirl, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D).

DVD Verdict: As you might already be able to guess, this is an ultra-low-budget indie monster movie directed by Dustin Ferguson. It stars Vernon Wells and Christopher Showerman and the plot follows a detective and a cryptozoologist investigating brutal wilderness killings tied to the Mothman, leading to a clash with Bigfoot!

So, of course, the entire film is something to behold, for all the most wondrous reasons, and therefore it cannot be taken for granted on any level. It is what it most certainly is and never lets go of that precious cinematic cargo once.

The perfect movie to put on while you’re building furniture and barely paying attention, that is most definitely for sure. I mean, the storyline could be straight out of a paperback novel you’d find in a grocery store and trust me when I say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
