Overview: A man finds a pair of sunglasses in the street that enables him to see into the near future, but unfortunately for some, the future is not so bright.

DVD Verdict: In 2005, one of the greatest cult classic short sci-fi films was being filmed on the streets of New York City. The Glasses, this independent film screened at several film festivals throughout America and then took off into the hearts of thousands of fans worldwide.

This is one of those movies that if you can get on board with it from the very off you will have a fantastic ride along with it. For this independently shot and made film may well have been done on the (very) cheap, but my goodness, it quickly went into the hearts of all those that were lucky enough to watch it at that time.

Cleverly written, directed and acted, the way the acts fall into place is just so expertly done and with lead actor Tony Nasser completely inhabiting the lead role, well, I honestly don’t think this short film could have been any better.
