Overview: A sad-sack professor embarks on the adventure of a lifetime when he gets sucked into a satanic garbage dumpster!

Blu-ray Verdict: Upon moving into a new apartment during his divorce, the professor notices strange goings-on with the dumpster outside. It appears to be killing people! He quickly investigates and gets pulled into the dumpster himself.

Soon, he’s attacked by all manner of trash, realizing the dumpster is a literal, never-ending void. Along the way, he meets another man also held captive by this nefarious waste receptacle.

In the end, after trying every means to escape, it becomes clear that our erstwhile professor must battle the evil spirit overlord, Trashula, who rules over the dumpster realm with a mighty grip.

This rather excellent micro-budget, absurd horror-comedy about a cursed, sentient dumpster that pulls a newly divorced professor into a chaotic, trash-filled void ruled by an evil spirit is as fun as you could have ever wished it to be, trust me on that!

And yes, despite its goofy B-movie premise, the film delivers a fun, surprisingly engaging indie horror experience that should please almost everyone that sits down and watches it. Combined with the surprisingly strong acting that anchors the surreal narrative as it unveils itself to us, at its core it is lovingly highly eccentric and campy.

So if you enjoy self-aware, trash-cinema horror (like the director’s other cult favorites, Death Toilet and Amityville Backrooms), you will know exactly what you are getting here.
