True to form, Shocktopus combines handmade ingenuity with wild digital effects, blending stop-motion and CGI to bring its electrified monstrosity to life in the most gloriously chaotic way possible.

Trust me when I say if you ever wondered what happened to the Blues Brothers and were hoping to see an incarnation of them back on your small screen, well, welcome to Shocktopus! Now, as much as it really isn’t them, or even meant to be a parody of them, one cannot help but draw a bead on the two lead actors as low key, low budget entities within that very same arena.

All that aside (you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about when you watch this movie, which I truly hope you do, what we get here is a nicely shot, decently acted, absolute nonsense of a movie that thrills and satisfies in equal measures!
