Overview: Nasty, horny human/reptile hybrid homunculus Marvin spends his days as a cursed, cage-bound attraction at a decadent strip club called the Meat Market, run by ancient vampire Morella (the late Debra Mayer, BLOOD DOLLS).

Once, Marvin was fully human and, when he crossed Morella, she put a spell on him to shrink and bear witness as she and her fellow parasitic peelers drain the club clientele dry, night after night.

Now, as Morella executes her final kills to become the most powerful vampire of all, Marvin’s son, Ivan (Phil Fondacaro, THE CREEPS, TROLL) appears, armed with a plan to exact the ultimate revenge against her.

Decadent Evil Blu-ray Verdict: Director Charles Band and writer August White cover all the pleasingly drecky bases with this jaw-dropping exercise in total low-rent silliness: a sizable smattering of tasty gratuitous female nudity, snarky dialogue, a throbbing trash rock soundtrack, a pervasively goofy atmosphere, gobs of tacky gore, ridiculous plot twists, and lovably lousy (far from) special effects!

A bevy of beautiful babes further ensure that this movie remains watchable throughout: sunny blonde Jill Michelle as the sweet Sugar, hot brunette Raelyn Hennessee as the sultry and insolent Spyce, attractive Hazel Dean as the enticing Tami, and buxom Harmony Rose as ditsy hooker Jazzmin. The rest of the cast struggle gamely with the absurd, yet formidably watchable material: Daniel Lennox contributes a likable turn as Sugar’s baffled boyfriend Dex, Phil Fondacaro does well as dedicated vampire hunter Ivan, and John F. Schaffer has a funny bit as the hopelessly geeky Lester.

Decadent Evil II Blu-ray Verdict: This is a campy sequel to a campy film and I for one enjoyed the sh*t out of all its lofi cheesy greatness! The opening recaps the first film. Good Vampire Sugar (Jill Michelle) and her human boyfriend Dex (Daniel Lennox) wind up in Little Rock Arkansas.

They have with them Marvin, the bloody ugly puppet from the first film and Marvin’s now dead son Ivan (Ricardo Gil), a midget Van Helsing, if you will! The want to locate the new head of the vampire clan so they can use his blood to revive Ivan. The trail leads them to Sweet Hearts, a strip joint.

I mean, come on now, for all its faults, the first film was funny and so it goes that if you allow your brain to shut off completely for an hour so too is this one. Sure, second time around it can lose some of its charm, but Charles Band has done worse and for all his low budget skills, he does bring his own brand of excellently cinematically shot nudity to the table each time!
