'Arlo The Burping Pig' [DVD + Digital]
(Drake Bell, Joey Lawrence, Jennifery Taylor, Lindsey Blanchard, Jonathan Lipnicki, et al / DVD+Digital / G / 2016 / LGF)

Overview: With no friends at her new school, a young girl befriends Arlo, a tiny pig who ran away from the circus. But Arlo's loud belches mean he won't be a secret for long, and together they will learn the true meaning of love and friendship!

DVD Verdict: I mean, and basically put, a 7-year-old girl befriends a teacup pig named Arlo, voiced by Drake Bell! So, could this movie even be any cuter before you even put it into your DVD player for your children?! I think not, for not only is the title cute, but the actual movie, chock full of Hollywood-TV-teens-grown-up is just perfect entertainment for those kids of yours, trust me.

From the off, and yes, the burping pig named Arlo is most definitely center stage here, for, well, come on now, who doesn't find the image of a burping pig funny as all get-out?! Sure it gets old after a while, but Arlo keeps you watching and come the end, well, I won't give it away, but the burping is wished for en masse!

Oh, and for those wishing to know, Arlo is what they actually, in real life, call a "teacup pig"! I couldn't make this up if I tried, so I won't! So, what you get is a whole lot of acting cuteness, a whole lot of male actors you, as the parent, most likely grew up watching re: Drake Bell (“Drake & Josh”), Joey Lawrence (“Blossom”), and Jonathan Lipnicki ('Stuart Little'), and a whole lot of loud noises coming from, well, of course, Arlo!

As for the storyline, well, that's a fun, if not basic one, where a young girl, Talia (Lindsey Blanchard) befriends Arlo (Drake Bell), a tiny pig who has run away from a local circus. But Arlo's loud burps mean he won't be a secret for long, and so together, and with the help of some of her friends, they learn the true meaning of love and friendship!
