Title - The Fabulous Thunderbirds - Live In London 1985
Artist - The Fabulous Thunderbirds

For those unaware, recorded at the Camden Palace Theatre, London on 29th April 1985 and featuring Jimmie Vaughan: guitar, Kim Wilson: vocals, harmonica, Preston Hubbard: double bass, electric bass, Fran Christina: drums, The Fabulous Thunderbirds - Live In London 1985 is a brand new CD/DVD set out now via The Last Music Company.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds were formed in 1974 by guitarist Jimmie Vaughan and vocalist Kim Wilson. Following the release of the band’s fourth album, (T-Bird Rhythm) in 1982, they were without a record deal for the next four years and during this time Keith Ferguson left and was replaced by Preston Hubbard.

The band signed to a new record deal with Epic and briefly moved to London to record their next album (Tuff Enuff) with Dave Edmunds producing, which is when this recording was made. The show was professionally recorded and filmed and this deluxe CD edition also contains a DVD of the concert.

1. Can’t Tear It Up Enuff
2. Scratch My Back
3. Pretty Baby
4. True Love
5. One’s Too Many
6. Those Fine Chicks
7. She’s Tuff
8. My Babe
9. Full-Time Lover
10. Tuff Enuff
11. I Don’t Care
12. Give Me All Your Lovin’
13. Two Time My Lovin’
14. Jimmie’s Song

Featuring some of the best songs you’ll ever hear from this band live, they open on the raucous blues rocker Can’t Tear It Up Enuff, the harmonica-driven blues of both Scratch My Back and Pretty Baby, and the comes the melodic rocker True Love, the jangly mid-tempo rock of One’s Too Many, and then come both the Chicago-hued rocker Those Fine Chicks and the driven blues of She’s Tuff.

Along next on the powerhaus live set is the strident rocking fare of My Babe, the aching blues yearn of Full-Time Lover and a rousing Tuff Enuff, and they are in turn then backed seamlessly by the roustabout rocker I Don’t Care, the full on Give Me All Your Lovin’ with the recording rounding out on the low slung, mid-tempo balladry of Two Time My Lovin’, closing on the harmonica-driven blues rock of Jimmie’s Song.
