Title - 'Touch Me: Deluxe Edition' (Cherry Pop)
Artist - Samantha Fox

Samantha Fox, as we all know by now, is an English dance-pop singer, actress, and former glamour model. In 1983, at the age of 16, she began her topless modelling career on Page Three of The Sun, and went on to become a popular pin-up girl.

And then, riding the wave of some serious media attention, in 1986, she launched her pop music career with her debut single 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body)', which instantly became a #1 hit in 17 countries.

She has since sold over 30 million albums worldwide, released seven original albums, has also appeared in a number of films, worked as a TV presenter, and has even appeared on reality TV shows!

Now digitally remastered and expanded, this two CD deluxe edition of her debut album, TOUCH ME (1986) has been lovingly put out by Cherry Red Records for all her fans to enjoy, once again. Only this time, and for the first time ever, on CD!

This incredible package kicks off with one of its lead radio single, worldwide hit, and title track, 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body),' before heading into 'I'm All You Need,' 'Suzie, Don't Leave Me With Your Boyfriend,' 'Wild Kinda Love' and both 'Hold On Tight' and 'Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me).'

Released by Jive in September 1986, the album was certified gold and featured four UK chart hits, two of which also charted in the US. The original album continues with 'Baby I'm Lost for Words,' 'It's Only Love,' 'He's Got Sex,' and finally 'Drop Me a Line.'

The first disc then adds some newly-discovered cuts (in some cases) and extended versions of her hits and album tracks, such as 'Tonight's The Night,' 'Want You To Want Me,' 'Rockin' In The City,' 'Never Gonna Fall In Love Again,' and songs recorded by Fox and her first band SFX, 'Rockin' With My Radio,' 'Aim To Win,' and 'Holding.'

The disc rounds out with 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body) (Alternative Version),' 'Hold On Tight (Radio Mix), and finally her Christmas 1996 single release, 'I'm All You Need (Single Re-Mix).'

The second disc continues the flow of extended versions and a lot of previously unreleased material by starting with 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body) (Extended Version),' 'Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me) (Extended Version),' 'Hold On Tight (Extended Version),' 'Im All You Need (Extended Version),' 'Suzie, Don't Leave Me With Your Boyfriend (Single Re-Mix) - which is weird as it was never a single in the first place! - and then 'Wild Kinda Love (Remix)' and 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body) (Blue Mix).'

Then we get 'Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me),' followed by the trio if SFX tracks, 'Rockin' With My Radio (Extended Version), 'Aim To Win (Extended Version) and then 'Holding (Extended Version).'

The previously-sought-after B-sides and unheard track, many mixes originally only issued on vinyl continue on with more different versions of songs we've heard, such as ''Suzie, Don't Leave Me With Your Boyfriend (Extended Version), 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body (Instrumental),' 'Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me) (Instrumental), and finishes off with 'Hold On tight (Instrumental),' 'Im All You Need (Instrumental),' and then 'Holding (Dub Mix).'

And with all Cherry Red CD booklets, this one is compiled with personal input from Samantha herself. Indeed, the extensive booklet also features many additional photos, a fully illustrated discography and recording data, full lyrics and new sleeve notes written especially for this release.
