Braco and His Silent Gaze
By: Matthias Kamp, MD - O-Books - $17.95

Overview: Braco and His Silent Gaze is a book about an amazing person with a unique gift: Braco. Thousands experienced betterment in their lives through Braco´s silent gaze.

Verdict: “So I made up my mind to open my heart for at least five minutes to this man who just looks at people in silence. During the encounter I felt more love than I could have ever imagined -- pure love. I felt that I was loved. On precisely that day, all pain fell away from me.” ... “It’s a very intense light he awakens in people.” ... “When he looked at me, I felt like someone was wiping away all my worries,” said visitors from Germany, Austria and the USA after an event with Braco.

It is impressive to stand in front of a person who gazes at the visitors of his events in silence. No gripping speech, no new teachings or wisdom -- especially no new religion -- just silence. Braco has the courage to stand in front of thousands of people at events and congresses. He has a gift some scientists say the world has not yet seen in this form. In 2012, Braco received a peace prize at the UN in New York.

Josip Grbavac (born in November 1967), better known as Braco sometimes called “The Gazer”, is this Croatian self-styled “healer”. He does not touch, speak to, diagnose, or treat the people who come to see him — rather, he stands on a platform and gazes. He avoids direct claims to have the ability to help people with his eye contact, but it is strongly implied and supporters report it causing improved well-being.

He began practicing “healing” after the 1991–1995 Croatian War of Independence. Braco’s mentor was Ivica Prokić, a Serbian economist, whom he met in the autumn of 1993. Prokić suggested the name Braco, meaning “little brother.” Prokić died in 1995 while on holiday. The two were alone on a beach in South Africa, when Braco says a “rogue wave” swept Prokić away after he had first taken off all of the gold jewelry he traditionally wore along with his socks and wallet. After Prokić’s death, Braco initially saw people one on one, however, due to the large number of people who started coming to see him, he began gazing at groups.

Indeed, my friend told me of a time where Braco was standing at a podium following a ten-minute period of introduction and silently looked at the members of the audience for a period of about ten minutes. Afterwards, during a period called “meditation and reflection” by supporters, believers have claimed to experience life changes, healings and positive experiences. Furthermore, according to supporters, during the “gaze time” they feel tingling, see energy or a golden aura, or experience peace or relief from pain.

“The interesting thing about Braco is that he can bring about changes in people - We always ask ourselves whether there’s something there that science hasn’t yet discovered, a kind of energy that can touch people.” [Professor Vladimir Gruden, MD, PhD].

In closing, a German doctor, author Matthias Kamp, MD wrote this book after his own intense experiences with Braco and his gaze. More than 70 visitors to the events with Braco have their say, including doctors, psychologists, scientists of physics, biochemistry and health sciences, as well as consciousness researchers and a theologian. The visitors’ direct experiences and the scientists’ expertises bring the reader closer to the unknown, which has no name but, through Braco’s gaze, brings happiness and health back to people.

About the Author - Matthias Kamp, MD is a medical doctor who has worked for more than two decades in hospitals in the area of internal medicine. He also has over 2 decades’ experience in spirituality. He lives in Baunatal, Germany.
