Overview: Dinosaurs Forever is the definitive Blu-ray collection of Midwich Entertainment’s beloved dinosaur documentary series, bringing together the most complete presentation ever assembled of these classic Dino Shows.

Hosted by Gary Owens and Eric Boardman, the collection transports viewers back to the Mesozoic Era while celebrating the educational and entertaining style that made the series a favorite among dinosaur enthusiasts and aspiring paleontologists throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

Blu-ray Verdict: Combining scientific information with engaging presentation and a sense of adventure, the series introduced generations of viewers to the fascinating world of prehistoric life. This deluxe collection preserves the charm of the original productions while presenting them in the best quality available for longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Equal parts silly and informative, the whole piece is quite charming. Eric Boardman and Gary Owens play off each other well, and the writing is just good enough to keep a kid hooked while also imparting some prehistoric knowledge. Kind of a great score from David Spear, too.

Honestly, this Gary Owens series is pinnacle nostalgia for me. Like a full on rejuvenating hot tub session of nostalgia. I used to not only watch them on TV but ended up getting them out of the Cleveland library constantly and despite my glossy eyed bias, to this day I really do enjoy the kitschy blend of documentary and fantasy quest - all taking place in a world where Dinosaurs are valued and celebrated with an almost religious reverence.

This dual-disc Blu-ray set contains seven complete, uncut documentary programs transferred from the best available source materials, along with nearly three hours of bonus content, making it the most comprehensive edition ever released. Released by Midwich Entertainment / Creature Features, this region-free Blu-ray collection presents approximately 174 minutes of documentary programming in English and stands as an essential archive of a unique era in dinosaur education and home video entertainment.
