Title - All Suited Up
Artist - The Kody Norris Show

For those unaware, The Kody Norris Show is one of the busiest, hardest working, and most entertaining bands in bluegrass.

The group combines musical virtuosity with humor and showmanship in a throwback to the glory days of the Grand Ole Opry.

Their debut Rebel Records release All Suited Up (out March 3rd, 2021) weaves classic themes with youthful creativity and modern sensibility.

While some bands honor their mentors by reproducing great music of the past, The Kody Norris Show inhabits traditional bluegrass and confidently carries it forward.

The foursome is fronted by Norris on guitar and his fiddling "sweetie," Mary Rachel Nalley, Josiah Tyree on banjo and Cousin Charlie Lowman on the bass!

Opening on the pacey bluegrass of Brand New Hit in Nashville and the vibrantly crisp Im Going Back to the Mountains, next up is the mid-tempo hipsway of the twin fiddled Ole Carolina, the gently fervent Kentucky Darlin, and then we get the cute, classic country of Love Bug, the vivacious barnburner Farmin Man and the foot-tapper Virginia Bound.

Next up come some heartfelt storytelling found within In the Shade of the Big Buffalo which is itself backed by the fiddle-tastic Uncle Bills Still, their version of a ballad in the form of Lets Go Strollin, and then the album rounds out on the appeasing disposition of Lady of the Evening, closing on more twin fiddling on the intensely passionate Whatcha Gonna Do.

The bands album, When I Get The Money Made, was named 2017 Bluegrass Album of the Year by the National Traditional Country Music Association.

The Kody Norris Show was honored with 7 nominations in the 2018 SPBGMA Awards in Nashville.
