Title - 'Anthem'
Artist - Sick Of Sarah'

Sick of Sarah are a rock band based in Minneapolis who have just-released their sixth EP, Anthem this past June, 2015. Founding member, and vocalist Abisha Uhl and drummer Jessica Forsuthe have also not only brought new music to their fans, but three completely new band members also!

They include Ari Applewhite (guitar/vocals), Jack Swager (guitar/vocals) a and AJ Stone (bass), and with everyone safely, musically on board now, Uhl has even added, "I'm looking forward to the future with a rock solid group of talented musicians. Each one has something new to bring to the project.". Sick Of Sarah have also teamed up with an amazing non-profit organization called The Torn Labels Project, an advocacy campaign to promote anti-hate and anti-bullying through knowledge, music and art.

Their brand of strong-voiced girl-rock has been drawing comparisons to other bands since they formed in 2006. Bands such as Dollyrots and Tegan and Sara. Indeed, among their claims to fame, they are one of the most torrented bands of all time: the band was featured on the BitTorrent Artist Spotlight, and 1.7 million copies were downloaded!

Their brand new 6 track EP, Anthem, begins with the threatening-to-derail musical gem, 'Stereo,' and they back that with the lesser-paced 'Bars Full of Strangers' ("I'm trouble. That's what they made me believe"). The vibrant duo of both 'Rooftops' and 'Blind' are the perfect mid-EP pairing, and they in turn are followed by the pop rock of 'Everything's Beautiful' and then, wrapping up this dynamite EP outing, is the romp entitled 'Contagious.'

Public knowledge that follows them is that because their album 2205 was automatically downloaded with BitTorrent software, it was dubbed the "spam album", but the band benefited greatly from the publicity. Here in 2015, this new CD EP, Anthem, should be able to run its own natural course with the public, and their fans alike. And, hopefully, succeed in excess.
