Win 'South Pacific in Concert from Carnegie Hall'!

Country music and TV star, Reba McEntire stars as Nellie Forbush in this live concert version of the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, 'South Pacific.'

Recorded in June of 2005 at Carnegie Hall, 'South Pacific' was a "one-night" only benefit performance featuring Broadway and Hollywood icons Brian Stokes Mitchell and Alec Baldwin.

On April 26th, PBS will air the concert in its entirety, and Decca Broadway will release its finely mastered companion cast recording produced by multi Grammy award-winner Jay David Saks.

The boisterous evening at Carnegie Hall was enjoyed by all and even won rave reviews from the most distinguished theatre critics. The New York Times’ Ben Brantley raved of Reba McEntire “Ms. McEntire is a natural for musicals…Open-voiced and open-faced, she was born to play Nellie”. His praise for Brian Stokes Mitchell was no less superior. Of his performance it was declared that “his place in the pantheon of romantic musical leads is now guaranteed.” Alec Baldwin’s comic turn as sailor Luther Billis was appreciated by Daily Variety stating; “McEntire's funny, boisterous rendition of "Honey Bun" was one of the concert's high points, given amusing support by Alec Baldwin. Baldwin proved himself a great sport in the number, donning coconut bra and grass skirt and doing a few woozy hula moves.”

If you would like to win a copy of this brand new CD soundtrack, just answer this easy question: On this night, who conducted the 45-piece Orchestra of St. Luke’s and the roaring 51-member vocal ensemble?
