'Kindness is Contagious' is a documentary that features a multitude of people from baseball players to soup kitchen volunteers as they tell their heartfelt stories of kindness and generosity. Alongside these stories, the film explores the idea that a single act of kindness can cause a ripple effect.

The documentary began with an article about James Fowler and his research concerning the viral nature of kindness. Fowler demonstrated that if you are kind to one person, they will be kind to four other people, and that each of those four people will be kind to four more people, and so on and so on… With this in mind, the general consensus amongst researchers in this arena is that we are hardwired to cooperate with one another.
