'Prom' (Blu-ray / DVD Combo)
(Aimee Teegarden, Danielle Campbell, et al / 2-Disc DVD / PG / 2011 / Disney)

Overview: At Prom, every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it's a classic tale of opposites attracting when she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Share the laughter and the drama as secrets are brought to light, seemingly steady relationships unravel and new romance catches fire.

Blu ray+DVD Verdict: If you are going to watch this film with high expectations, well, then you've been under a rock for the past few months. I mean, should you really have expected too much from 'Prom' given the fact it was a huge box office fail? And the fact it was a Disney movie toboot!

Worryingly, given that it has all the right parts of the jigsaw puzzle to be a success, the film has all the things to fit as a so-called chick flick, but more realistic! And, if that wasn't enough given the tween aspect of the audience-that-should-have-been, the music was very well picked.

The actors are good, especially Aimee Teegarden, so too her best friend Danielle Campbell and the go-to hunk Thomas McDonellwhich proves that it wasn't bad actors or bad acting that sunk this film like a stone! Personally, I think 'Prom' delivered on all fronts. Not, perhaps, at full speed, but it wasn't as bad as those have said. Indeed, I think this film was great fun and in this day in age it was great to just watch a film like this! Give it a chance. Forget the fact that this is a Disney movie, because it is very well done and you'll probably be surprised when you see it! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.77:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:

•“Last Chance Lloyd” Exclusive Short
•4 Deleted Scenes
•Bloopers
