'I Want My Hat Back & More Happy Stories'
(DVD / NR / 2015 / Scholastic + Cinedigm)

Overview: You can collect the entire library of Scholastic Storybook Treasures and read along on screen with your favorite classic children's stories, brought vividly to life on DVD.

DVD Verdict: In truth, my boys LOVE the Scholastic collections. On this DVD you have four (4) fun shows. The two favorites of my boys are, I Want My Hat Back,' where we quickly learn that Bear's hat is gone! None of the animals have seen it, but Bear's memory is sparked by a deer who asks just the right question; and 'The Happy Lion,' where a lion in a Paris zoo tried to return his friends' visits by venturing into town to see them!

Also contained on this truly delightful four (4) episode selection is 'The Lucky Ducklings," a true story about a mama duck and her five ducklings that had to be rescued from a town storm drain during an early morning walk; and then 'The Happy Owls,' where two owls discover the secret of peace and happiness and share their secret with all their barnyard friends. This is a Widescreen Presentation (1:78.1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:

Interview with Author/Illustrator Jon Klassen
