'Tom and Jerry: Spy Quest'
(Reese Hartwig, Arnie Pantoja, James Hong, Eric Bauza, Michael D. Hanks, et al / DVD / NR / 2015 / Warner Bros.)

Overview: Two groups of classic cartoon characters come together in this fun-filled crossover with the popular action-adventure animated series Jonny Quest. Fans of all ages won't want to miss this heart-stopping adventure as tussling twosome Tom and Jerry join Jonny Quest and his pal Hadji and embark on a dangerous spy mission in order to save the world.

DVD Verdict: Let's be honest from the start ... if you adore everything that Tom and Jerry have ever gotten up to, and you have always been a fan of Jonny Quest, well, this movie does not disappoint in any way, shape or form. Of course, there are a few incredulous moments you have to go with, but as the action never lets up, they are super forgivable. Again, if you are a true fan of Tom and Jerry, this movie has three to five "new" break-out scenes of cat and mouse tomfoolery to behold!

The basic storyline is that Jonny Quest is trying to save his father from the clutches of the evil Dr. Zin. This makes a whole lot more sense if you have actually seen the Jonny Quest series, but that aside, if you have not, just go with the flow here. But this time, Jonny and his friends are receiving some help from our favorite cat and mouse double act. And, as always, some comedic chaos is thrown in the mix to ensure that the proceedings just don't always go as planned! This is a Full Screen Presentation (1:33.1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with four (4) Special Bonus Episodes:

From The Tom and Jerry Show: Birthday Bashed/Feline Fatale From Jonny Quest: The Fraudulent Volcano
From New Adventures of Jonny Quest: Deadly Junket
