'Caillou: Caillou's Furry Friends'
(DVD / NR / 2015 / PBS KIDS)

Overview: Join Caillou as he explores the outdoors and learns how much fun it can be to take care of the environment.

DVD Verdict: For those of you that are not aware, Caillou is an inquisitive four year old whose world is filled with learning, fun and imagination and inspires generations of pre-school children to grow emotionally as they explore the world around them.

For all those that think Caillou is a brat, well, I personally think he teaches children how to share, manners, and shows what happens when you don't act kindly. I worked at a childcare center with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Caillou acts like the average 4 year old. I've seen 4 year olds throw temper tantrums much worse than ANYTHING I've seen on this show!

So here in this 25th Anniversary of the "Peter Pan" animated still-four-years-old character known as Caillou, we get seven (7) brand new episodes: 'Dog Dilemma,' 'Caillou's Cricket,' 'Caillou's Cross-Hop,' 'Kitty Conundrum,' 'Lost and Found,' 'Play with Me!' and finally, 'Caillou Roars.'

In these mixed episodes, Caillou learns about all creatures great and small from crickets to lions and everything in between! He also learns a lesson about jealousy when Sarah gets a new dog, learns about the importance of following safety rules after discovering some frogs that need help crossing the street, and amongst others, he sees the value in returning a lost pet to its rightful owner after he loses his beloved Rexy.
