'LEGO: Legends of Chima: Season 1 - Part 2'
(Scott Shantz, David Attar, Bill Courage, Jeff Evans Todd, Jesse Inocalla, et al / 2-Disc DVD / NR / 2014 / Warner Bros.)

Overview: 'LEGO Legends of Chima: CHI, Tribes, And Betrayals' Season 1 Part 2 showcases the battle for the CHI still rages in CHIMA.

DVD Verdict: So, if you were not aware, the magical world of CHIMA is a land ruled by animals that walk, talk, drive vehicles, use machinery and live in castles! It was once a pristine, natural paradise but has now become a battle ground where friends have become worst enemies.

Laval the Lion keeps struggling to reunite the tribes and to restore his friendship with power-crazed Crocodile crown prince Cragger. Laval, Eris and Gorzan must come up with increasingly desperate plans, reclaim the CHI, and keep the earthquake and windstorm-plagued land together.

Here in 'LEGO: Legends of Chima: Season 1 - Part 2' you will experience new alliances and bigger adventures with 10 new 'LEGO Legends of Chima' episodes on two (2) discs:

1. The CHI Jockers
2. Balancing Act
3. Crocodile Tears
4. Fake CHI, Real Trouble
5. Ravens vs. Eagles
6. Reunion Gone Wrong
7. Laval in Exile
8. The Black Crowd
9. CHIMA Falls
10. FOR CHIMA!

What a great series so far. The stories are great and the characters are well done. What I'm actually liking most about this so far is that almost all of the vehicles in the series look very close to the buildable models adding to the enjoyment value you will get from purchasing them.

Like all shows, some episodes are better than others, but in general the series is well done. The computer animation for the show in general and the Backgrounds in particular are superb and keep you interested in watching. I, for one can't wait to see more episodes. This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.78:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs.
