'12 Rounds 2: Reloaded'
(Randy Orton, et al / DVD / PG-13 / 2013 / 20th Century Fox)

Overview: Arriving just in time for Fatherís Day, the action-packed sequel comes to Digital HDô May 21st and Blu-ray and DVD June 4th. Paramedic Nick Malloy (Orton) is plunged into a deadly game of cat and mouse when he receives a terrifying phone call from a vengeful psychopath (Brian Markinson) connected to his past. The maniac threatens to unleash a murder spree unless Nick can complete a series of 12 challenges without involving the cops or missing a single deadline.

Blu ray Verdict: OK, it has to be said that any 13 year-old boys will LOVE this movie! Anyone younger, not so much. Anyone older well, maybe, but not so much. So, there's your demographic. I sat down with mine to watch '12 Rounds 2: Reloaded' and he absolutely loved the movie.

Randy Orton is as over the top nuts in this sequel as his persona in the WWE, trust me! Indeed, with more humor strung throughout, some very funny, and well placed comedic lines given, together with the all-out action '12 Rounds 2: Reloaded' is both suspenseful and a lot of fun to watch.

And, for once (especially in direct-to-DVD titles) the actual movie plot is well written, understandable, and doesn't feature an ending of over five needless twists and turns! So, bravo for that, my Fox friends. I have to actually say, as the adult in the room, that I enjoyed this second tale much better than the first one - ie: the one that featured another WWE hulk, John Cena. With Randy proving he can actually act, he's got this locked in for Part 3, for sure!

Just to give you a glimpse inside this movie, here's how we start: Nick Malloy (Orton) is an EMT walking home with his wife when he sees an accident take place. He rushes over to help but one victim doesn't make it. A year later while working he recieves a call that takes him on a journey to save his wife and others - "This game has 12 rounds, you win more then you lose I turn myself in. You don't a lot people die. A lot of people including you." So, check this movie out today as it is well worth your bucks, trust me! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.77:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:

Randy Orton Reloaded
Locations: From Heller's Lair to the Sugar Factory
The Action of '12 Rounds 2: Reloaded
