DVD Verdict: In truth, it's quite hard to rate this item on it's own since I own the CD as well. Therein, if you haven't ever seen him before, consider this your go-to entity. However, if you own the CD, and you have seen the 5-6 minute YouTube video of him on some radio morning show (where he does the troop, fat/pregnant girlfriend, and parade/fireworks jokes better than on this DVD), you will have seen/heard all but one or two jokes. Most of it is word for word!

It's really disappointing there hasn't been more than a few minutes of new material added two years after his CD came out. I think he's hilarious and was really hoping he'd continue to crank out quality material. It seems like he is just continuing to cash in on the same old jokes. Indeed, not only are the jokes the same, they aren't as well done as they were on the CD! His timing was off, and he seemed like he rushed through the material. He didn't include some of the embellishments to some jokes (such as "because you're teetering on stupid" during the WWJD joke), and you'll really miss them if you're familiar with the CD. That all said, and please remember I am a hardened fan, if you yourself are an old fan or new fan to Daniel's work, you have to pick it up regardless - either way the experience will leave you rubbing your belly!
