But be warned, King likes to gush over his guests as much as he likes to question them.

Indeed, Larry King is often viewed as a softball pitcher. His questions are easy, complimentary and rarely to the point. But to dismiss his easy-going style is to dismiss his ability to attract hard to get celebrities and officials and extract headline making information from them. It is this ability to make his guests comfortable and get them talking that has kept Larry King at the top of his game and in the game for so long.
