DVD Verdict: For those not in the know, 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' is a children’s television animated series that airs on the Disney Channel’s “Playhouse Disney” block. Targeting pre-school children, the series is CG-created, vibrant in colors, and tells informational tales to all those watching.

The main character interacts with the viewer at all times, which I think is a wonderful idea. Indeed, and with that in mind, Mickey Mouse is, of course, the main character communicating with his friends - and then, and sometimes unexpectedly, he looks towards the viewer for help in a variety of adventures.

'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Number Roundup' uses a variety of tools and a compass inside the clubhouse to help them solve their problems and get from point A to point B. Indeed, during the mission at hand, Mickey offers various ideas of paths they can take and asks the viewer which path should he take. Again, very well created, a lot of fun, and very engrossing for those youngsters glued to the screen.

And the benefit of this wonderful Disney pack, is it comes complete with a brand new “Mickey Mote”, a child-friendly handheld remote to answer fun questions about colors, shapes and sizes! It’s important to note that you can use your regular DVD remote, but the “Mickey Mote” is child friendly and will be much easier to use for children.
