Title - 'Gravity: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'
Artist - Steven Price

In truth, it's rare that I "fall in love" with a score on first listen. But this one for 'Gravity' was just such a case in point for me. It is an incredibly and meticulously crafted score by Steven Price. There are several themes spun across different tracks, which sink in after couple of listens. Indeed, the last three tracks sum all themes together gracefully.

'Don't Let Go' is my favorite track, in one were to be chosen though. Together with its sinister percussions and gentle backbeat, it compliments the on-screen action just perfectly. Ending with a warm, lush even theme which is heartbreaking in its own beauty, believe me.

Indeed, if you are fan of orchestral music then you might find this somewhat disappointing since most of the music is quietly synthesized; but rightfully so. Not all soundtrack scores are for everyone and they do follow the same musical path a lot of the time anyway.

Anyway, a great listen and one to settle back and close your eyes too; if you so desire on one of these Fall evenings.
