Title - 'Back To Love' (RCA)
Artist - Anthony Hamilton

Anthony Hamilton continues to bring an old school vibe with a new school twist. That being said, this is not a retread of old material. "Woo" enticed me to take a closer look at this new offering.

The title song "Back to Love" convinced me that this is one that I wanted to add to my collection. He conveys so much raw emotion in each song. Whether pleading with his woman not to leave or flirting with a woman that he wishes to make his own, Anthony Hamilton hits the right note.

He also sings of being in love despite the woman's infidelities on "Writing On The Wall". He closes the album out with two ballads (more of my fav choices from this wonderful album) - the pop-ready feel of "Who's Loving You" and the Donny Hathaway inspired "Life Has A Way".

Anthony Hamilton's Back To Love is yet another wonderful album in his impressive catalogue. After over fifteen years of stuggle in the business, Anthony has remained true to himself and his artistry - in the end, his music remains great on the basis of consistency.
