Title - 'Shake The Devil: The Lost Sessions'
Artist - Tommy Bolin

For those not in the know, guitar legend Tommy Bolin, known for his work with Deep Purple and The James Gang, lives on in this treasure trove collection of unreleased tracks!

Bolin was an American guitarist and songwriter who played with Zephyr (from 1969 to 1971), The James Gang (from 1973 to 1974), and Deep Purple (from 1975 to 1976), in addition to maintaining a notable career as a solo artist and session musician.

Featuring demos and outtakes from the recording sessions that produced Bolin’s most fully realized and sadly final album, the 1976 masterpiece Private Eyes, Shake The Devil: The Lost Sessions (out now via Cleopatra Records) also includes informative liner notes written by rock journalist Dave Thompson.

1. 'Shake The Devil' (Alternate Mix)
2. 'Bustin’ Out For Rosey' (Alternate Version)
3. 'Hello Again' (Outtake, No Strings)
4. 'Gypsy Soul' (Outtake)
5. 'Sweet Burgundy' (Alternate Version)
6. 'Someday We’ll Bring Our Love Home' (Instrumental Demo)
7. 'You Told Me That You Loved Me' (Instrumental Demo)
8. 'Post Toastee' (Acoustic Demo)
9. 'Tommy’s Instrumental' (Outtake)
10. 'Gypsy Soul' (Acoustic Demo)
11. 'Gypsy Soul' (Rehearsal Demo)
12. 'Someday We’ll Bring Our Love Home' (Instrumental Demo)

Opening with the slow blues crawl guitar rock of the title track 'Shake The Devil' (Alternate Mix), that's backed by the melodic '70s pop rock of 'Bustin’ Out For Rosey' (Alternate Version), the beautiful ballad duo of 'Hello Again' (Outtake, No Strings) and the simply shimmering 'Gypsy Soul' (Outtake), and then we get the mid-tempo pop soul of 'Sweet Burgundy' (Alternate Version) and the upbeat acoustic guitar vibe 'Someday We’ll Bring Our Love Home' (Instrumental Demo).

The groovy 'You Told Me That You Loved Me' (Instrumental Demo) is a pure, unadulterated gem here also (and sounds like the intro to a Late Night '70s TV chat show), and that's backed by a funky 'Post Toastee' (Acoustic Demo), a five minute work of guitar excellence found within the aptly-named 'Tommy’s Instrumental,' with the album rounding out on two more versions of 'Gypsy Soul' (Acoustic Demo and Rehearsal Demo), closing on an Instrumental Demo of 'Someday We’ll Bring Our Love Home.'

Shake The Devil: The Lost Sessions is available as a CD and in a special limited edition gorgeous colored vinyl in a gatefold jacket!
