Title - 'Bury'd Alive'
Artist - Chantel McGregor

For those not in the know, Chantel McGregor has been performing live gigs since the age of 12, schooled at a music college and achieved a First Class Honors Degree in Popular Music.

Along with her current band members, Colin Sutton on bass and Thom Gardner on drums, they form an awesome power trio playing an eclectic mix of blues based tunes, composed by Chantel.

Ranging from traditional blues numbers complimented perfectly by the purity of her singing voice, to a much more raunchy blues rock style, it's clearly obvious that Chantel is a musical force to be reckoned with.

Chantel released her debut album, the critically acclaimed Like No Other in 2011 and followed that up with the highly anticipated sophomore release Lose Control in 2015.

Her new album, Bury'd Alive recorded at the prestigious Apex in Bury St Edmunds on March 29th, 2019, is a live album that encapsulates everything great about Chantel in the pulsating 11 track set.

1. 'Take The Power'
2. 'Killing Time'
3. 'Like No Other'
4. 'Caught Out'
5. 'Eternal Dream'
6. 'Lose Control'
7. 'Inconsolable'
8. 'Your Fever'
9. 'April'
10. 'Walk On Land'
11. 'Freefalling'

The powerhaus track 'Take The Power' showcases Chantel's guitar and vocal prowess brilliantly and that's backed seamlessly by both 'Killing Time,' and then the tranquil storytelling of the night after within 'Like No Other' ("My head pounds more than my heart").

Another monstrous guitar session comes to the fore in the rockin' blues of 'Caught Up,' with the ballad 'Eternal Dream' along next. The raucous 'Lose Control' is one of my own personal favorites and is followed by yet another ballad, this time the dulcet 'Inconsolable.'

With the heavy, thumping, pounding 'Your Fever' showing us that Chantel's not afraid to take the darker rock road, up next is the atmospheric ballad 'April,' the melodic 'Walk On Land,' and then the album rounds out with the billowing blues of 'Freefalling.'
