Title - 'One Love'
Artist - Cornell

For those not in the know, internationally acclaimed Soul artist Cornell 'CC' Carter has been gracing stages and entertaining thousands of fans with his signature sound around the world for many years.

Indeed, and furthermore, he is known for his phenomenal stage presence, his high-powered audience engagement, and his extraordinary and dynamic vocal skills.

Cornell's strong love for music developed when he was a young man growing up in a San Francisco home chock full of Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, and Gospel, which has been the inspiration for his creativity and songwriting.

He co-wrote and produced his internationally acclaimed 2016 album In The Moment with co-producer Kirk "KC" Crumpler, who has produced various award-winning artists.

In 2017, Cornell released Vindicated Soul, a remarkable collection of soulful covers of artists including Marvin Gaye, Al Green, and Willie Hutch. Vindicated Soul also included a remix of the classic CC original track 'Where Do We Go.'

Releasing this upcoming August 17th, 2018 via CDC Productions, One Love is his highly anticipated new album.

1. 'Winners'
2. 'Relax' (featuring Brian Braziel)
3. 'Free'
4. 'Badeyah'
5. 'One Love'
6. 'That's My Baby' (featuring Soulpersona)
7. 'That Feelin' (featuring Soulpersona)
8. 'Getaway'
9. 'Something Like'
10. 'Maybe'
11. 'Life'
12. 'Somethin' Like (Soul Mix)' - Bonus Track

Cornell's experience and professionalism have made him an A-list vocalist for Tarpan Studios, appearing on many tracks with Grammy and Emmy Award winning producer Narada Michael Walden. And this brand new album is, without a shadow of a doubt, a musical venture that showcases Cornell at his lyrical finest.

Lovingly created with a variety of outstanding producers on its roster - such as Morgan Howell (Soulpersona, UK), Brian Braziel, David Council, and, once again, Kirk Crumpler - One Love kicks off in some fine musical style with the melodic trio 'Winners,' 'Relax' (featuring Brian Braziel) and one of my own personal favorites, 'Free.'

Cornell is in great vocal form here throughout, and that comes to the fore for me on both 'Badeyah' and the title track itself. The laid down back beat of an impeccable vibe and groove are also winning props that Cornell knows all too well, such as the way he entwines them within such Soulpersona-featured tracks as 'That's My Baby' and the first Single from the album, the uber funky, slap bass of 'That Feelin' - which was released on April 27th, 2018 and has been #1 on all significant Soul Charts in the UK.

Cornell himself has said that, "One Love is a message of Oneness with the planet and each other and allowing Love and Music to be our guide to a better world," and that message seeps through majestically on 'Getaway,' 'Something Like,' and especially 'Maybe.' The album then rounds out with the stunningly thoughtful 'Life,' before the bonus track 'Somethin' Like (Soul Mix)' closes the show - for now.
