For those not in the know, Jeff Beal is an American composer of music for film, television, recordings, and the concert hall.

Highly regarded as a jazz instrumentalist and versatile composer, Beal's music often incorporates a synthesis of improvisatory and composed elements.

His latest compositional work is for 'Shock And Awe,' the latest film from Director/Producer, Rob Reiner, (Wolf of Wall Street, A Few Good Men).

In 2003, as the Bush administration prepares to invade Iraq, skeptical journalists question the administration's claim that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction.

Starring Jessica Biel, Woody Harrelson, Milla Jovovich and Tommy Lee Jones, the impressive 30 track score is, to my mind, one of Beal's best.
